Ill go first...

Hi all I am From Langley BC Canada. I started this site due to a lack of sites dedicated to this bike .... ... It doesn't matter how crappy a day I have had, all I have to do is put on my gear and go for a ride.... The world disappears... my Yamaha FZ6 is my first bike.. Its a 2005 Galaxy Blue one.. (Yeah the blue ones are faster... Its not a rumor). I am an Engineer and currently work as an instructor at the British Columbia Institute Of Technology..... Okay enough about me... Who is next....

Hi,
I’m newer than most to the BMW world. Spent most of the past 20 years on various Harley’s.

Last year I discovered the k1600 b and was very impressed. Bottom line, I just traded my k1600 b for a 26 R1300RT. I like the idea of a light, fast touring bike and am psyched to hit the road. Ordered one of the last models with clutch here on the east coast. Should be here in about a week, still plenty of time before the snow!

Those k1600bs are amazing baggers, but your new RT should be much more agile and nimble. Fast too! Have a blast out there.

Hello
Member from Midlands UK, Just taken delivery of a 1300 RTLE ASA, love the bike, previous to this had a number of FJR’s, BMW K1600’s 1250 RT’s Yamaha Tracer 9GT+, and Honda NT 1100 DCT, all great bikes but this new RT tops the lot!
